Many different options were tested to give the illusion of movement while creating and releasing tension.  Two possibilities were by using effects and form generators to "wave" the line.   The final chosen option of drawing on each line over a long stage and having the camera follow the movement.   This option allowed for fluid camera transitions and adjustability.
The chosen option sets the stage of many competitors, but ultimately follows the one "hero line" and its journey, which then draws on the location and logo icon.  These lines also needed to hint at their original meaning of forces interacting with each other but never touching.

This animation tested my ability to develop a story from, and give a sense of character to abstract objects and shapes while being exciting and interesting enough to unveil the logo for this significant event.  I learnt to design and animate with future alterations in mind and to keep a clean, organised workflow when the asset count moves above one hundred.
